October 03, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –
Hadjikyriakos & Sons Ltd, the appliance and household goods retailer founded in 1886, has set out several revisions to its main product ranges and the services that support them. The changes apply to the company’s core areas of white goods and domestic appliances, professional catering equipment, sanitary ware and kitchen furniture. They are being introduced across its stores and its online operation.
The retailer said the revisions are intended to make its ranges easier to browse, order and receive, and to align the support customers receive after a purchase across its channels. The company described the work as a stage in the continued running of a business that has traded for more than 140 years, rather than a change of direction. The core product areas remain the same, while the way they are presented and supported has been revised.
Among the changes, the company said it has widened the selection available to order online, so that a larger part of its in-store range can be viewed and purchased remotely. Delivery arrangements have been reviewed to cover the whole of the island, with delivery provided at no additional charge on eligible online orders. The company also stated that payment options include instalment arrangements on qualifying purchases, which allow the cost of larger items such as refrigerators, ovens and washing machines to be spread over a period.
Constantinos Hadjikyriakos, who leads the family business, said the revisions relate to the way customers now combine store visits with online research and ordering. “Customers increasingly move between a store and a website, and the company wants the range and the service to match in both,” he said. “The purpose of these changes is to keep that consistent, so that the same products, the same advice and the same after-sales support are available whichever way a customer chooses to deal with the company.”
The company set out several reasons customers might make use of the revised ranges. As an authorised distributor for a portfolio of international brands, including Miele, AEG, Bosch, Neff, KitchenAid and Villeroy & Boch, the retailer said it supplies genuine products with the warranty cover that accompanies authorised distribution. That position, the company noted, allows product-support and warranty matters to be handled directly rather than through third parties, a point relevant to customers buying appliances they expect to use over several years.
The retailer also referred to the breadth of its ranges as a practical consideration for customers furnishing or updating a home. Because the business covers appliances, sanitary ware, kitchen furniture and catering equipment, a customer can source products across several categories from one retailer, with a single point of contact for delivery and after-sales support. The company said this may be relevant to those managing a renovation or a new property, where several categories are required at the same time.
On the trade side, the company said the revisions extend to its supply of professional catering equipment to hotels, restaurants and pubs. Continuity of supply and after-sales support are factors for commercial kitchens, and the retailer said the revised arrangements are intended to give business customers the same consistency across ordering channels that consumers receive. The company has supplied the hospitality sector for several years and described that segment as an established part of its activity.
Hadjikyriakos said the company treats after-sales service as the element that links the various revisions. “Each change is assessed on whether it makes the process clearer for the customer and easier to support afterwards,” he said. “A wider online range or a delivery arrangement is of limited use if the service behind it does not hold up over time. The company has retained customers over many years by attending to that, and these revisions are meant to continue that approach rather than replace it.”
The company said the revised ranges and services are available across its stores in Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos and through its online store. It added that it would review how customers respond to the changes over the coming months and make further adjustments where appropriate. The revisions were described as part of a continuing process rather than a single event, in line with the way the business has developed over its history.
